About Us
Pioneer Relief Nursery staff partner with families experiencing high stress to increase family safety and stability. Families receive intensive support and guidance as they work toward achieving goals to ensure a prosperous future. A core focus at Pioneer Relief Nursery is increasing parent and child connection. Children who experience a safe and loving relationship with their caregiver can grow up safe, healthy, and ready for future success.
Pioneer Relief Nursery seeks to “Prevent child abuse and neglect by early intervention that focuses on increasing protective factors, building successful and resilient children, strengthening parents, and preserving families.“
Founded in 2007, Pioneer Relief Nursery is one of 38 Relief Nurseries in Oregon. As members of the Oregon Association of Relief Nurseries, Pioneer Relief Nursery serves families in our community using a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to child and family development. Pioneer Relief Nursery partners with families experiencing adversity to provide the support and resources necessary for a family to build a strong foundation for success.
Our program works with families to increase the Protective Factors present in a family and help each family thrive. Staff at Pioneer Relief Nursery work with each family and child in our program to provide individualized services tailored to their unique needs and goals.
